This publication contains permissable modifications to the Rules of Golf for use by disabled golfers. The desired result is to allow disabled golfers to play equitably with able-bodied golfers, or a golfer with another type of disability. Five groups of disabled golfers are covered: blind golfers, amputee golfers, golfers requiring canes or crutches, golfers requiring wheelchairs and golfers with intellectual disabilities. It is important to stress that these Rules only apply if they have been introduced by the Committee in charge of a competition.
